Hp630 laptop dead after bios bricked and power led is off

    My laptop connecting to power jack led is off,i checked adapter it is working and opened my back panel and checked the power connector using multimeter it shows 18v, the problem occued when i was updating bios it was bricked.i tried connecting external hdd,i hear sound hard disk running but not reading even though laptop is dead.


    So i don't understand what is the problem, why DC power jack led is not on and my laptop is dead.Did Bios bricked cut laptop supplying power.

    Try to disassemble battery and wait few hours for defaults applied on next boot. Hope this helps
