You might try rubbing gently with some acetone. It is basically the same as fingernail polish remover. May I ask why you'd want to remove the logo in the first place?

That's a very good question, I was thinking of covering it with a decal of some type, but if there is a good method of removing it that might be much better. The sugar cube sounds interesting but I don't want to scratch it. I don't really mind it saying Acer but having nothing on it is a bit nicer.

No it's not, not anymore. When I was looking for acetone (removed the logo from my Archos 404 PMP), I had to dig through some two dozen brands of nail polish remover before finding one that still uses acetone. It has been all but phased out because it's not 100% harmless, unlike the alternatives. Most of removers seem to be oil-based now.

Rubbing off a logo that is a decal, is NOT the same as removing a love that is embedded in the plastic. It won't work. The logo is MOLDED into the case. You don't like it? Put a piece of tape over it.

Yes, I would be *very* careful as one will have to live with a marred AAO everafter. I would be very reluctant to try it unless the method has been totally confirmed.

Acer cares. They embed love in their plastic.

    Haha :D

Its not in the plastic -_-
The silver Logo on the outer shell is underneath the clear coat that was later sprayed onto the plstic to give it that glossy look.

The Aspire one Logo is painted on w/o a protective clear coat, and so is the lettering "storage expansion" those to can be easily Rubbed off over time.

I used Brasso to get rid of the Acer logo on the screen bezel. It worked fine, the plastic is still as glossy as it was before.

That's the answer I was looking for! I don't mind having a logo on the system, but I just find the bright silver logo on the piano black bezel distracting while using the little one.

    Thanks!
