    Hi Everybody!

i found the sw/driver to easily use the internal 3G HSUPA modem ofAcer Aspire One 150x BGw ;)

i have installed the iAtkos 5i (OSX86) with the guide of Rory (ths Rory for this full guide! viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6274), after the installation everything worked, but there was no sw to connect with the integrated internal modem 3G (GTM380E - here the spec: http://www.novamedia.de/option/e_gtm380.html) :? .....

    No Problem!!

Here the steps to bring UP your 3G modem with OSX:

0 - Start OSX with your SIM card in the bay of 3G modem (every change of SIM require reboot of machine - not hot swap work on my test)

1 - Download from here http://anonym.to/?http://www.option.com ... oads.shtml the GT Mac Connect (the last for OSX 10.5.X) at the moment as i am writing the direct link is: http://anonym.to/?http://www.option.com ... .20618.zip

note: link to Option site are "anonimized"... for their "long life" :) ...this link aren't public access... :?

2 - Open the zip and install GT Mac connect 1.3d0-164

2,5 - Now one alert window could appear telling you it has found new network device (five devices)... personally i have deleted all 5 devices from my default network profile (automatic)...the sw doesn't use this 5 devices..... anyway the sw created a new network profile named "Globe Trotter Connect" and inside it there are two devices, one modem and one network card, don't touch this.

3 - Now launch the app and go to preferences and set your APN

4 That's ALL ...now click "connect" and surf with your AcerOne with OSX

    5 - EnJoY iT! ;)

    bye
