how to read mic office 2007 with open ofice??

the aao has the open office 2.3, but it cant support the file saved as mic office 2007 docx. how i want to read the doc with my aao.
plzz help me.. i'm know nothing abot linpus linux..

I'm affraid Open Office won't support docx-files until version 3.0. Until then, you'll need to convert the files into a format OO can read. You can do that for free at the Docx Converter website.

for future reference, set office2007 to save as 2003 word files, so they are .doc and will open in open office.
