How to keep the system clean from unnecessary files???

After that it will stay clean by itself.
(It's Linux, will be the same in 3 years from now as it is today! Not like windowsXP getting bloated over time.)

 

I think no one understand me.... at Ubuntu we have comamnds like "apt-get autoclean" and "apt-get autoremove" that we can use to clean the system from unnecessary files, like unnecessery dependacies and downloaded packages...

Is there any commands for linpus to do the same thing???

"Reclaiming disk space" and "keep the system clean" = two different things.

 

That's because you did not read the whole thing.

 

i see in the root that if you put:
yum clean

there is some instruction to erase unnecessary files

 

Both links above don't work...

Can someone repost please?
