How to keep the system clean from unnecessary files???

After that it will stay clean by itself.
(It's Linux, will be the same in 3 years from now as it is today! Not like windowsXP getting bloated over time.)

I think no one understand me.... at Ubuntu we have comamnds like "apt-get autoclean" and "apt-get autoremove" that we can use to clean the system from unnecessary files, like unnecessery dependacies and downloaded packages...

Is there any commands for linpus to do the same thing???

i see in the root that if you put:
yum clean

there is some instruction to erase unnecessary files
