I tried to install parallels desktop 4 in my AAO A150 with dual boot via Acronis OS Selector Windows XP and Leopard from iatkos v4i updated to 10.5.5, and I get the following Error:

Parallels Desktop cannot be installed on your mac.
Parallels Desktop can be installed only on systems supporting hardware virtualization.

    Any ideas for that?????

    One more question.
If I get Parallels Desktop work can this use the already XP installation from the other partition.

I installed Parallels Desktop 3 without problem.
    BUT
Boot Camp freeze when trying to load Acronis OS Selector or when skipped it freeze before Darwin.
When I shut down OSX I get always Kernel Panic.
When I boot to OSX (after Parallels Desktop 3 installation) I get always Kernel Panic.
I managed to boot in OSX ONLY by typing "-v" in Darwin.

    Any suggestions????????

    After "-v" Kernel Panics stopped.
I disabled Acronis OS Selector and when I start parallels desktop I get:

    MBR Error 3
    MBR Error 1

Do you have any solutions or ideas???
    Anyone that make parallels work????

    Hi,

in Parallels 4 they need this Hardware Virtualization feature (VT) by some of the Intel processors. Unfortunately, the Atom processor does not support it, so you have to use Parallels 3. This older versions supports software emulation of the feature.

All C2D processors of the 6xxx and the 8xxx series support VT by hardware. The others (2xxx, 4xxx, 7xxx) do not and cannot be used with Parallels 4.
