If I install this on my one, will I be able to select it as a session, or will it always start up upon logging in ???

Yeah, it wont launch on logon until you create a session. Dont like it? Just delete the session.

Sorry, but what I meant was as a session from the login window. Or as it looks is it simply an app to run, rather than a window manager like linpus?

    Whoa, hold on!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "a session from the login window" but if you setup the session as instructed it will run straight after you logon if thats what you mean,

Linpus isnt a Window Manager, it is an OS and runs a custom interface much in the way that the harbour-launcher runs. They are essentially apps, yeah. I assume you arent trying to run this under Linpus...?

no i wish to run it in intrepid. What i mean is this i have gnome, kde, e17, openbox, metisse, lg3d all installed on ubuntu, at the login window i select one of the above in the session option, and that is the xserver session it logs into. Can i set this as a session or is it an app to run under another session?

Its ok andysan, I have just had another look at the app, and it is just an app launcher, as opposed to a desktop environment/window manager. It seems to be just another variant of the type used by easy peasy. That said, with the themes installed it does look quite good.

    Hi,

Right, i see what you mean - yeah, its just an app launcher, not a desktop environment. Sorry my replies were a bit saft, i misunderstood what you meant.

Thanks for pointing out the elisa debs, i've updated the main thread to instruct users to simply goto a2h's blog as it keeps changing and the front page tut is out of date.

    Cheers!
