I just got my new Aspire One yesterday. How can I free up more space on my SSD?

I removed the built-in Adobe Air, Adobe Reader, McAfee Trial, MS Office Trial, some wallpaper,built-in windows games. The total free space came to about 3 GB on SSD after deleting all of them.

Is there an option on System Restore Cds that let a user select files (include or exclude default built in software)? I'm thinking of reinstalling XP home using the xp home cd and system restore cd that came with the laptop. I really don't want those above built in software to be installed DURING THE INSTALLATION. Please let me know. Thanks.

My AA1 specs: XP Home, 8 GB SSD + 8 GB SD Card
