how to improve performance openoffice

    Hi everybody, can someone help me about how to improve the slide show on open office impress, its very slow and poor, looklike there are without harware acc and open gl support, im using linpus linux for AAO ...

    Openoffice working great on XP
    not sure about linux thought..still trying to finger out how to install into AAO XP version
