How to get your old IM and Email program

    Hey
    im pretty new in Lipnus
    and i have tried to get Pingid on my acer and then my old IM and Email program got erasted how do i get them back ?

    The only way I found was to do a system restore since the default Fedora 8 RPM repo doesn't have the relevant Acer rpm archives. Even Acer's own source code repo (which has builds for the .sh patches on a per bios version) doesn't have ALL of the pre built rpms - I know because I went through the lot trying to restore it (don't ask about details tho on how far I got - I gave up three weeks ago and just restored from CD).
