One guy created a clone of is XP install (on ssd)that he can restore with a usb key - takes 15min to install a clean copy of xp with your settings and tweaks!

Anyone could post a guide on how to do this with Norton Ghost or Acronis Trueimage?

    Cheers.

Do you have a way of creating a bootable USB key? If so, that would make it easier to know how to help.
If you have a U3 USB key and the original GHOST CD (which should be bootable), you can make it so that you can copy the original GHOST CD onto the USB key and make it bootable.

Using either Acronis TrueImage V8.0 (bought) and V10 (borrowed) I still CANNOT REMOUNT IMAGES
    - TrueImage cannot see the SSD

but you shouldn't have any trouble if your Aspire1 uses a Hard drive

Just thought I'd save someone elses time.
