the graphics driver: xorg-x11-drv-i810-2.1.1-7.fc8.i386.html is severely outdated. its from 2006 and you need at least a driver from june 2007 to enable vertex shaders. (see http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2007/08/20 ... ma_driver/)

now i was looking for a pre built rpm, but there aren't any for fc8. i did find the intel site with info how to built the driver. but i'm to inexperienced.

    http://intellinuxgraphics.org/install.html is intels site.
i suppose you need the latest MESA and libdrm to be able to built it.

We really need it to enhance the gaming capabilities of the acer one. Until now, nobody succeeded in running GuildWars, i believe this will help us
