how picky is the DC input of the acer

    I was hoping on using two series connected 12V batteries to directly power my AA1.

    Would I need a stepdown circuit to bring the voltage down to 19V?

    Or would 24V be OK to use?

    Don't want to blow anything up.

    Don't to it! You will damage your netbook. There are 19v external batteries just for this purpose, I suggest you just buy those.
