In the BIOS screen there is another IDE1 port. Can the case hold 2 HD's?

    Thanks!

There is very little free space inside an Aspire One 8.9" or 10.1" netbook. The reason you see that port in BIOS is because the motherboard supports it.

In any case, it would be extremely hard to try and fit another hard-drive in there. It'd have to be like less than 1" and even then, it would be very tricky.

On the SSD model tnkgirl did a mod to add an esata external port off the sata drive connections on the motherboard. Pretty simple because there are only a few wires.

Being PATA each channel supports a master and slave so the simgle connector should be enough. The big problem is finding room.

technicly you can fit a max of 2 as there is a sata port on the 150 and you can also add the zif to that

no you can't put 2 hdd on each port. once you get past 2.5 nothing realy suports that sort of thing. maby 2 cf cards thow ac the converter somtimes has a master/slave switch
sata does not suport master/slave its simply 1 port per cable thats it

Big capacity drives are so cheap that the best capacity increase would be to replace the single drive. Even if you found a thin second drive then the restriction it placed on air flow would substantially increase the risk of overheating, and running two drives would reduce the running time for a battery charge. Check the existing drive spec on the manufacturers website and replace it with a drive that uses the same or less power.
Alternatively consider the use of a large external usb drive. I've seen 500Gb ones for under £45.
