Let's hear it people! From full charge, how long does your battery last, according to the battery icon in the tool bar.

    I'm running a 150-1249, stock, and get 2hrs. 4 mins.

    3+ hour my arse!

    AAO 110 ZG5, stock configuration, 2:50 hours (2200mAh battery).

I am very satisfied with the lifetime of the One. Way better then my Acer Aspire 5601 AWLMi that lasts for 1:30/1:10.

With my A0A 150 on general I get just about over 2hr, I've managed to stretch it out to 2hr and a half with no wifi, no sound, and backlight turn down. But I'm think about maybe underclocking the machine to stretch this out a bit more specially when some time I just need notepad/bluefish editor (I do a lot of web work on it) But will no doud't get a 6 cell battery as soon as they become wildly available and slightly cheaper.

I got the XP/hard drive model over the weekend. I get about 2 hrs 20 to 2 hrs 30 mins. I have lousy eyes, and as nice as the unit is, I don't really want to spend that much time continously with it. Still, if there's ever a battery price drop I'd like to get the 6-cell at some point.

I didn't have the patience to wait for the new 6-cell, 160GB version to start hitting stores. :p

~2hr 45min with A110 Linux (2200 mAh), wifi on, screen brightness on third level. Haven't given it a proper practical test yet, but it's managing close to what the battery icon claims so far whilst web browsing etc.

Never less than 2h20'-2h30' until 10% alarm shows. Editing text, browsing (WiFi on).

Even though I was careful to properly condition the battery to begin with (i.e. three complete charge/discharge cycles,) the AOA110Ab L only provides about 1.5-2.0 hrs continuous use, which is a bit rubbish, really. Still, it is billed as a netbook, rather than a road-warrior.

About 2 hours and 10 minutes. I like a bright screen and a computer's not much use without a network connection so my wifi is always on.

I have to say that I am not impressed, but it's what I expected. So far (in 10 days of ownership) this has not been a problem but one day it will. I may buy a 6 cell battery or just a spare 3 cell.

I also thought about the 6 cell battery. but I read anywhere this thing should weigh near to 700g. that's almost the weight of the aa1. and I love the lightness of my aa1...

I get about 2.5 minutes normal usage, but playing a 3D game cuts this to about 1.5 hours!

Can't wait for the 6 cell battery to be available in the Uk...

I've got a 150, XP, 1Gb and was finding I was getting about 2 hours and 10 with Wi-Fi on. Made changes to the fan settings and now get about 2 hours and 30 which seems fine to me. Wi-Fi off seems to improve a smidgen but 3 hours would be a bit of a struggle.

Thanks everyone for posting the results, and if your read through them all, around 2.5 hrs. is typical, both in XP and Linpus, and even Ubuntu. As for pre- use conditioning, I think it might only help in the long run of the battery. Disussion welcome!
How about you people with boat anchor 6 cell AA1's?

Today I got my AA1 up to 3h and a few minutes! :D

    I used following settings

    bios 3109
    Win XP Pro SP3
    Display lowest brightness
    Wi-Fi deactivated
    Soundcard deactivated
    primary IDE Channel deactivated
    camera deactivated
fan was mostly off due to the lovely aa1 fan control

Doing most of the time things that didn't requires much CPU usage.
