i get very good range also. but i see that the original driver that came with my aao (windows xp home 160gb hdd 1gb ram) was for some reason make the speeds very slow but with a simple update of the drivers i am going very fast again :)

My range has been good and steady. I did update my bios and driver, but wasn't really having any wifi issues before or after.
All in all, I'm impressed with it's range.

It's fine until it stops working, when it becomes totally useless.
Read all the other threads before thinking about buying one.

This has the best range of any laptop I've had yet. Unfortunately, you'll need a good driver as its a newer chipset.
