I have the Aspire E5-575G-53VG Windows 10 64. It has turbo boost but unlike Windows 7 I don't see a place to place widgets or something similar on the desktop. How do I do this? I would like to be able to visually see what type of strain my computer is under.

Microsoft have removed the ability to have widgets in Windows 10.
You can install third-party applications that will allow you to have the "widgets".

I would recommend getting Rainmeter as not only does it provide the widgets functionality but customisable themes for our desktop.
