How do I turn off the wheel??

    This wheel thing ... how can I turn the thing off. What a PITA! :roll:

    On the XP version, go to Control Panel -> Mouse, then to properties or something (far right tab) and disable edge scrolling.

    I'm using XP but the option you speak of is not in the mouse control panel.

    Mouse -> Device Settings tab-> Settings -> Virtual Scrolling -> Enable Vertical Scrolling and Enable Horizontal Scrolling.
