How do I transfer the acer 1 recovery cd onto usb stick?

    Some time ago I transferred the acer 1 recovery cd contents to a usb stick to reinstall my Linux os but have lost the usb. How do I copy from the acer1 recovery disc to usb please so I can reinstall the os?

    Acer erecovery usually requires a set of dvd's to be created.

    Probably the best method is to download a new up todate linux operating system version of your choice,
    then download any additional driver files direct for the acer site afterwards.

    The result should be a cleaner system without the bloated acer stuff.

    Thank you, very grateful for your advice. I assume I download the programme onto a usb stick and then onto the Aspire 1? Do you know what size usb stick I would need, please? Best wishes....

    Yes download a new linux operating system as a I.S.O. file

    Then choose a program from the link i submitted to put it on a usb flash drive.

    A 4gb usb flash drive should be sufficient

    Try a few linux systems before you settle on one.

    IT'S so easy to do.
