how do i set up dhcp connection in linux?

    do i just insert the ethernet cable on the NIC? thanks a lot.

    Linux distros usually come with a dhcp client already installed. So, yes, simply plugging in should give you a dhcp connection, as will the wireless nic.

    thanks a lot dude. i hope that will do when i buy my one. hehehe. because i don't want to risk doing updates using wireless. im not patient enough reinstalling os esp if the gadget is new. hehehe.
