Hi I'd like Skype and Weatherbug which I've installed to run on startup. Is there a way to do that? I've tried adding it to rc.local but it didn't do anything. I don't seem to have the session plugin for xfce. Greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

Open "Run" with the keys Alt and F2 (at the same time). Type xfce4-autostart-editor in the text field and hit the button. This opens a little app where you can add your startup items.

Thanks, that worked great, once I had it point to the actual app rather than the .desktop file.
