How Do I Get My Wireless Mouse To Work?

    I have a new AAO blue, with XP and 120 Drive. My question is: I have plugged in a Kensington mini-Wireless Mouse USB adapter (got it at Best Buy Canada for 10 bucks), but how do I get the netbook to recognize the mouse? Perhaps I have to disable the touchpad first (grrrr), but if I do that, what happens if the mouse still doesn't work and now I cannot use the touchpad? Yikes! Any advise would be appreciated.
