Hot spots

    Any advice on how to access hot spots to use the internet I am used to only using wireless broadband at home.

    Depends what you want to achieve. Public Access Points works in exactly the same way like your home network. All you need is active wireless adapter and that's it. Different story if you want to crack passwords to get an access to secured networks...
