Help with having to scroll left and right on web pages..??

I bought this for a christmas present and had to try it out :) One thing he doesnt like is having to scroll left and right on web pages and noticed this happens a lot on the aa1.. Is there a program to change the resolution so this wont happen or another way to stop it, and what would it need to be set to so it all fits on the page.. Thanks so much, hope i can fix this before christmas eve..
