Help! SMPlayer won't play DivX anymore!

    it was working yesterday, and today its only giving me sound, no video.
    the only thing i can think of that i removed was compiz, but i reinstalled and it still wont work!
    can someone please help me restore it back to playing divx? i tryed uninstalling and reinstalling mplayer and smplayer, and nothing works but sound!!! what could i have done? remove emerald theme manager?
