Help Restoring Factory Settings

Hi, i installed windows xp and i want to restore to factory settings. I am booting the Recovery CD, and after i select the first option, the cd-rom drive stops, the forth led from left to right, of the keyboard (the padlock with an A) start blinking, and nothing happens, could u all please give me a light??? Thanks

i pressed ESC and seems like the installation is not detecting the LIVE CD, and the i decided to make the USB recovery on my desktop pc, i got a few errors, and i made, but still not good, on the first next arrow, freezes...

Are you tapping the touchpad for the 'next' button? It freezes everytime for me, but click the left button and it works properly.
