help buying refurbished laptop

hi, first post on here, I'm looking to buy my daughter a laptop for her 13th birthday, I can't afford a new one so I'm thinking about getting one second hand, she wants to be able to play Sims 4 and just general use you tube etc. is it possible to get one for under £250 . and if you can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated Gary
