Upon first booting up hel is us I got a message about how my system doesn't support dx12, which makes no sense as I have a 2060 laptop win 10. So I found this workaround: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2623190/discussions/0/604154270792573703/ this does work for the game and it does run. The thing I think is the problem is that I still have an older version of windows that didn't get the agility sdk so I used the fix I have in another thread for that, look it up here. On top of that my card is only dx 12.1 level which I think this game needs 12.2. So this spoofs the game into a workaround that should have been included with the game. It doesn't really justify the reqs or the perfomance but I think it's a UE5 game which is a mess most of the time at first and usually needs patches to be at a decent level perf wise. UE5 is terrible for older systems for what the games look like most of the time. This game is definitely no exception on top of this 12.2 nonsense. Lazy development. The game is ok but you quickly find out it's a souls like which is a shame. I thought they would have done their own thing and it seems like the story is different but the core gameplay is just a...nother souls like game!
