HDD on Aspire 7720.

Hi there. I have a problem. I just dismantled a aspire 7720 to bits. Reason? some idiot spilled 2 drinks in it and short circuited the motherboard, and i wanted to see if it could be fixed. (YES i have computer electronic experiance, i work with AllElectricActuators with TONS of green cards in it) ANYwho il look closer on it later, tho i think its fried, BUT the HDDs. There are 2 of em linked together with some acer thingie, and i cant boot one and one in another computer (non Laptop), and the Acer thingie is contructed for acer laptops. My Q is: Is it possible to link it to another PC? Without the Thingie? Is it raid? hows it conected to the laptop? Cant find electric schematics for the HDDs, tho i guess its top secret stuff acer wont give out easely. :P YES i spell like a 6year old og speed. Im Norwegian, live with it. :D In advance Thanx.
