hd wont show up in bios

    i have a toshiba drive installed the 3008GAL. Was halfway through installing xp on it when i got an error, it dumped physical memory and now hd is not in the bios. any idea what may have happened? i jus upgraded the bios and that didnt fix it. Also could it be that the zif cable is broken?

    it disappeared from the bios before and came back after a few boots?

    This happens to me with both my upgraded hd and my ssd drive. I even updated my bios as well.
