Hd for Acer aspire 3450?

    Hi there,
    I have my acer aspire 3450 connected to a monitor with a dvi cable. I have windows 7 enterprise installed on my computer and on the control panel there is no option to change to HD. I've used windows updates to try and find HD setting but can't find any. Do i need to buy a new graphics card or is there any other way of getting hd?

    There's no actual switch or button to output to HD. All you have to do is right click on a blank area of your desktop and choose "Screen Resolution". You might want to consult the manual for your TV so you can select the highest resolution it supports. You should be able to achieve at least 1280x1080.
