Hard Drive Info [120 GB]

    My A150L bought in Indonesia has exactly the same drive with you. Btw, I have a question. What's the difference between USB to IDE Combo cable and USB to IDE SATA cable? Which one (if any) can be used to transfer data to and fro this type of HD? Thanx in advance

    Not "any", it needs to be 9.5mm in height.
    The ones you show are fine.

    If you start from a new hard drive will the bios see an external usb dvd drive to intall a windows OS disc?

    Yes, it will. I'm assuming you mean a full blown windows disc and not the restore disc from Acer? if it's the restore disk, I'm not 100% sure with that, I have the Linux version (already owned copy of XP) so I didn't feel the need to pay for XP again.
