    Why would you buy a gaming laptop for design research? You're better off buying a Dell XPS for that purpose. To answer your question, I think MSI's laptops are really solid (they even have laptops with desktop CPU's which is cool) but their customer support isn't the best. I was thinking of buying a laptop from them because their price:performance ratio is insane but I decided against it after calling their support system for information.
