Got osx running....no usb ports?

    I hae it running with Kalyway OS X and it works great so far. My usb ports arent working though? Get back at me :)

    Most of the time it's because your system.kext and kernel differ in versions. Try to connect a usb and restart your system and see if it works, if it does make sure they are the both same version. If you need more info on this just reply, i'd be glad to help since I came across this problem last night and fixed it successfully.

    oh wow that was easy that makes me look dumb all i did was plug it in and start it up like you said haha thank you

    I have that problem.

    I would much appreciate help to fix this. USB only works after reboot with the USB mouse/pendrive inserted..

    How do i check that system.kext and kernel is the same version ? And how can i make them the same ?

    I run iAktos 5i 10.5.5 upgraded to 10.5.6 with voodookernel. WiFi working :cool:

    You need System.kext and Seatbelt.kext fromm 10.5.5. There are somewhere in this forum IIRC I uploaded them not so long time ago.
