Well, I upgraded to an Acer 751h. I like it, but I would love to run a linux distro on it. Does anybody have experience running Linux on this machine?

A friend of mine just installed the latest version of Ubuntu on the same machine and after a bit of tweaking he reports that everything is working well.

    Cheers.

Ubuntu is pretty good. But there is a learning curve involved. And some Terminal work to get mp3 and commercial DVDs to play.
i suggest spending some quality time in the Ubuntu forms.

I tried East Peasy. Based on Ubuntu. Works great. I had heard that video accelleration didn't work though. Anyone know a fix?

IMO Fedora 11 is a tad better then Ubuntu in terms of performance.
