I'm trying to load Windows XP Pro using a USB flash drive but setup stops with the message "General Failure Reading Drive A". How can I get around this problem ?

    it shouldn't be drive A...

A and B are letters reserved for floppy drives... even if you don't have any installed.

u should probably be looking for a drive letter like... D or E

When you boot it up, did you press F12 then select USB HDD?

Thanks. Yes, I agree that it shouldn't be looking for drive A, but is there a way around it?
And yes, I set the BIOS priority to the USB stick and it accessed it OK, it was a bit later that it wanted to read drive A. One of our problems with One is that we don't have easy access to drive letters.
