My 1410 arrived. At the moment, it's dual boot into Vista and Ubuntu 9.10. Switching from one to the other requires changing bios from sata for Vista to ide for 9.10. I had hoped to try Windows 7 64 bit, but when I ordered my w7 via Acer's official link, the form automatically filled out w7 as 32 bit. http://www.acer.com/windows7upgrade/order.html

In the packaged disks sold by Amazon for a Vista Home Premium upgrade to w7, the disk(s) contains both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

Does whatever Acer or whoever ships include 32 bit and 64 bit versions? Or did Acer contract down so that only 32 bit will arrive in the upgrade package?
