    hi,
i've taken my aspire one apart quite a few times now and the glue from one of my footpads is gone. can anyone recommend a good glue or tape for it so that it will stay on but still be removable should i decide to do another mod?
    thanks

Simply apply a rectangle of double-sided cellotape in the bottom, so you protect the screw from being glued up. Then you put half a drop of super-glue on the footpad itself. Press the footpad into place. Let dry. That's it. You'll end up with footpads that are securely held and won't go their own way at the first opportunity, but at the same time that you can remove without causing any mess or damage. At least, that works for me...

I just used pencil erasers myself. Also, rubbed them down to fit and used my wife's nail adhesive (superglue). Works great and cheap.
