Where can I get one of these for the Zif/CF adapter? I'd rather not buy a batch of ten which is all I've been able to find. My attempts to manufacture one have not produced very good results, though I'll keep trying.

    Cheers, Jon

It is a ridiculous price, but if I bite the bullet I'll share.

Those don't look like flip cables to me... As far as he's told me, only the other link is flip. Be sure to ask.

Okay, I finally just gave up trying to make one and ordered both the ZF/CF converter that doesn't require a flip cable, and ten flip cables (for the Super Talent 32GB SSD). The flip cables are .035mm on each end so they're a tight fit for .025mm devices, but I have managed to use them with without breaking the connector.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Finally! :D I finally received the flip cables and now everything works perfectly. The Super Talent 32GB SSD is lightening quick compared to the old Intel drive and I don't seem to get stalls anymore. I even have room to play with Ubuntu and iDeneb.

If anyone needs a flip cable, message me and I'll send one along after you send me a postage paid, self-addressed envelope. I'm keeping two for the future which leaves seven available.

    Cheers, Jon

    Hi Jon

Do you have any of those ZIF connectors left? I have a 16G SSD and it's soooo slow. Want to change it for a faster SSD or a PATA one.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Robin

Can someone explain why you need to cross over cable? The pin out between the ssd and zif hdd are the same.
