Flash Player 10

This made firefox buggy and crash-prone. I had to uninstall immediately. I guess I'll wait till the bugs are worked out.
 
The Known Issues page says:

For Linux, the hardware acceleration feature will not work if you are using a compositing window manager (compiz). In this case, Flash Player 10 Beta will always fall back to software. If you would like to test Flash Player 10 Beta on Linux, please disable your compositing window manager.

So you have to disable compiz to decrease the cpu load. But is there actually an option "stop compiz"?
 
I did the same, installed 10, i did notice that flash was quicker, but it did crash. i uninstalled flash, then reinstalled 9, but now flash doesn't work at all. it says that i have an old version. please help
