    Hi all,

Just wondering what this community plays in terms of PC gaming/online gaming. For me, I am an avid Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) player as I played all the previous Counter Strike games. Other than that, I am not that much of a PC gamer. When I was young though, I used to spend countless hours on Runescape. Glad I got away from that.

I completely love and adore Alice: Madness Return. This game was a sequel from the ''American McGee's Alice'' game released back in 1999. I love them both :) Those are my absolute favorite games, but I also enjoy the Amnesia and Penumbra games :) Horror and psychological horror games are my thing.

I'm not so big on online/pc gaming but i love this little game called Northern Tales, it's sort of a strategic game but what i love most is the graphics, it looks cute, it's set in the medieval time and the medieval music is adorable.

I love CS:GO. It's the first PC game that I am hardcore about. I've packed about 200 hours into it, which is a bit too much aha

I also like Kerbal Space Program. I've had it about a year and I still haven't got to all the planets yet! I just love the endless exploration, customisation and community. If you get bored, there is loads of mods available

I'm a Sim City and Roller Coaster Tycoon buff. I have three versions of Sim City, and Coaster 3, but as far as PC games are concerned, that's about it. I do play a number of game apps on my phone but am gradually whittling those down to just the ones I play a lot. Anything that slows down my computer or phone, gets deleted fast. On a couple of my computers I have a game called Autobahn, where you race and crash. I love to just park my race car on the grass and watch all the other cars pile up. :D

I don't play games on my computer. The only games I have are the ones that came with the Microsoft office program. I play chess and solitaire sometimes. having said that I play games on my smartphone.

All of you sound so much more game savvy than I. Like Vinaya above, I played solitaire for years. It seemed to calm my mind. In the past few months, I have been a bingo game fan. (I can hear the collective groans out there.) My teenager is helping me break out and has bought me some steam games online, so I am going to venture further onward in the world of computer games.

FIFA 07. It's kind of an old game but I like it so much even in 2016.

All time? Bastion. I have played a ton of PC games, but nothing was ever just a cool little (I think) $1 game than bastion - got it when it was pay what you want in some sale. Easily blew me away for how much fun I was having with such a simple concept.

I play a lot of League of Legends. So I guess its my favourite game, I've yet to play another one that made me feel the same excitement. Another favourite is Skyrim.

My favorite PC games are Fallout: New Vegas and Starbound. I'm pretty sure when No Man's Sky is released it will make the list too, but so far so good. Starbound is probably my first favorite game, it takes everything I like in any game and puts it together. 22nd July is when the final game is coming out and I just can't wait, it will be amazing. Fallout: New Vegas was a game I spent a lot of time on but don't currently play anymore, but it was awesome when I started to play. I finished all of it, and it's big...

My favorite PC game by far was Diablo 2 with the expansion pack. This came out when I was in eighth grade and I continued playing it all the way through high school. I have very fond memories of playing this while I was growing up. Every now and again I play single player but it is not the same. Hopefully one day something similar comes out as Diablo 3 did not do it for me like that.

I cannot really name my favorite PC game. However, it would be some sort of poker machine game, as that's the only PC games, other than chess ones, that I enjoy. Generally speaking, I do all my gaming on a Wii console.

Note, lately, I haven't even played any casino or chess games.

I remember that game, but I never remembered the name. Thank you! It's actually listed as Abandonware now, so I'm going to download a copy. I didn't know that there was a sequel, so I will have to look that up. Do you know if it's on Steam? I also love psychological horror games. Do you remember I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream? The game was based on Harlan Ellison's short story of the same name, and he did the voice of AM. It's on Steam now. I actually got to interview HE over the phone, and hearing his voice after playing the game creeped me out! You might also want to try Sanitarium. I don't know where you would find it, but I have the original CDs. Can you recommend any other good psychological horror games?

I love city builder games and always have. In the early 00s I was introduced to a game by, I think, Tilted Mill(?) called 'Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom' and just fell in love with it.

It was part of a series of historical city builders that included Zeus, Caesar, Pharoah and it's expansion pack. Eventually Children of the Nile - out of all of them, by far, my favorite is Emperor. It's so serene, with beautiful graphics and tons of work done on the campaigns, sounds and visuals. Music by Jeff Van Dyke that I actually have ripped to MP3s on my phone to listen to while I work.

Also has the ability for players to create their own campaigns via a campaign creator, which is all kinds of awesome. There used to be a free demo online, no idea if it still exists.

    Welcome @Larochepiano :).

My favourite game at the moment is probably "Company of Heros", but it's a fairly old game that I just happened to buy in a steam sale. The Fallout series, Borderlands and Bioshock are all high on my list :).
