Faster Linux performance (no freeze) - Log files to RAM

    It may be a good idea as a workaround for the slow SSD and slow system with freezes sometimes.
    (When the disk is written which causes the system to hang.)

    The procedure to follow in order to install the ramlog program (under Linspire(Fedora) or Ubuntu) :

    Has any of you tried this ramlog linux tweak to improve performance and avoid slow downs?
    (+improve SSD life as no logfile will be written on a daily basis.)


    PS: ah it was also proposed in this post (I found same reference again browsing the net).
