Fan running loud, but CPU's are cold

    Hi there,

    On my Acer Aspire 7720 I have (since a recent re-install of Win7) a curious thing: the fan is running loud, after 15-30 minutes of use, but the CPU's are cold (30°C). I checked with CoreTemp, the CPU's are not working (when idle), and temperatures stay low, but the fan starts to run at full speed, which is annoying (noise).

    Any idea?

    could be just a matter of dust around the fan.
