So I hooked up to my 22' LCD Widescreen figuring the resolution would be fine...but the res was awful...there were letters and numbers which looked like they were missing pixels...the picture was pushed way to the left on the monitor. Not sure if there's something in the software to make the external issue look normal or not. Also, when the external is plugged in, the infamous fan goes very loud..it's fine without the external plugged in.
