Dear all, I'm still running my 9.10 with Ext2 and it works fairly well on the SSD A110L. Who has experience with Ext4 on the SSD version and how does it perform compared to Ext2?

    Thanks for the feedback.

I've tried it once with Ubuntu 9.10, but it was horribly slow compared to ext2. Since then I use exclusively ext2 and although there are experimental filesystems that will probably be better choices for SSD's, they are still some years away.

    Hi Jango,

At the time I tried I used the full ext4.
Did you made any comparation test between them? Do you feel ext4 without journaling can outperform ext2?

Not that I'm gona change it now, but can be useful information for the next full update I do to the small machine.
