    I run AAO under Vista.
I have formated my SDHC card in the left slot in NTFS.
In the window where i can manage disk i can only convert SSD in dynamic disk, not the SDHC
I though it was the SDHC to be converted, no?

i only want a large disk, not use RAID

Option of extending storage SSD capacity with SD card is available only under Linux - there is special process responsible for this. In Windows SD card is mounted as standard memory only...

I don't know :) But I have WinXP now, previously Linux on the same machine and it was working like that. Now my SDHC card is visible as standard storage area and I have no idea how to use it as HDD/SSD extension. And TBH I'm OK with Windows systems...

Can I borrow this thread and ask if there is a way to make sure certain files will be stored on the storage expansion disk and not on the internal SSD? Considering the filesystem sees it as one disk...

XP & Vista treat the left expansion slot as yet another SD card reader. As such, it is assigned another drive letter, and you can simply choose to save files to that drive instead. From what I understand, Linux basically mounts the drive as part of the file system, and so distributes the storage of files across all storage media...

I have the Linux version and under Linpus the 8G SDHC card I installed is seen as part of the hard drive when I am displaying in the standard mode but when I go to the advance mode it is shown as a separate drive.
