Error while installing packages

    Hi @ all,
    Im absolutely new in linux, but had the preconception that it was more transparent to user than Window$... :?
    Running Linpus Lite I managed to unlock the "advanced mode" and tried to install new soft from the packages (code::blocks and other dev tools).
    Once confirmed the package selections, it resolves some dependencies and then downloaded with no problem.
    But, during the update phase I got this message: "Error Updating software" Details: package gettext-0.16.1.12.lp which is newer than gettext-0.16.1.12.fc8) is already installed. (that file was not selected to update) and can only close the window. I tried to remove that file and had the same error...
    Any clue or work arround about this :?: ?
