Epson DX7450 Printer Driver on Linpus anyone?

    Title says it all really - I'm really struggling to find a driver and when I do, I haven't a clue how to install it. Any help for a Linux Newbie would be very much appreciated.

    This printer does not seem to have a pre-installed printer driver in the AA1. The Linux Foundation (openprinting.org) reports the DX7400 as a "Paperweight" (I don't know what the difference is between the 7400 and the 7450). However, this website reports that it now supports the DX7450: http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Drivers/Gutenprint.shtml, which appears to be version 5.2.0 Beta 4. The version of gutenprint that is available for downnload through the package manager, however, appears to be version 5.0.1. I don't know enough about Linux to advise you to install the newer version of gutenprint on the AA1. Maybe somebody else can help you a bit more. Good luck.
