Hello, does anyone know how to enable a DVD movie to be automatically reproduced when is placed on the DVD reader (external reader via USB), either on VLC or Gnome player?

I couldn't find any help in the applications help documents.

I was able to play it manually with both Gnome Player and VLC, but I would like it to do it automatically every time a movie is entered on the reader.

    Thank you in advance.

The AAO should do DVD auto-play already!

But, if you want to change the program used:

    ALT-F2 xfce-setting-show

Click on "File Manager", choose the "Advanced" tab, and then select "Configure" (the management...)

On this screen, you can choose the programs run when an Audio CD or Video DVD is inserted.

    Hope this helps
