There are a number of applications where the minimum resolution in full screen mode is XGA (1024x768). Because the AA1 has a native resolution is 1024x600 it means that in XGA it is not possible to view the whole display. To get round this someone on the MSI Wind forum has made an applet that allows XGA to be downscaled so that it fits onto 1024x600. Of course the aspect ratio is not correct so that circles will appear as ellipses etc but for most games it is fine. It seems to also work fine on the AA1.

To run it it is first necessary to enable XGA and other display resolutions by going to Display Properties then Settings>Advanced>Monitor and checking the box "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display". then running the executable.

Note that this applet only seems to downscale XGA. Other resolutions such as 1280x768 will still be windowed.

I have only tried it with Win/XP but I would imagine that it will also work with Vista.
